BJP to hold rally despite PDP's misinformation campaign

The BJP national secretary Tarun Chugh on Saturday said that the party is determined to hold Prime Minister Narendra Modi's election rally in Srinagar despite a "vicious misinformation campaign" launched by regional parties, particularly the PDP.

The BJP national secretary Tarun Chugh on Saturday said that the party is determined to hold Prime Minister Narendra Modi's election rally in Srinagar despite a "vicious misinformation campaign" launched by regional parties, particularly the PDP.

Chugh said that it was sheer frustration on the part of the PDP leaders that they have now chosen to spread rumours to score a point.

"People of Kashmir have made up their mind that they would be voting for BJP this time so as to empower Prime Minister Modi to carry out his visionary agenda of development in Jammu and Kashmir too," he said.
