Blast near Baghdad courthouse; 9 dead

A roadside bomb exploded near a courthouse in Baghdad on Thursday, killing at least nine people.

Police said the blast also wounded 46 people.

Interior Ministry sources said the bomb targeted civilians.

Insurgents are waging a campaign of bombings and shootings in a bid to topple the Iraqi government and drive out US troops.
