Block Pramukh of Cholapur Development Block, Tribhuwan Singh, who was absconding, surrendered in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) PK Srivastava here on Friday afternoon. He was wanted in connection with the sensational murder of local BSP leader and mafioso Abhishek Yadav alias Guddu.

He was wanted in connection with the sensational murder of local BSP leader and mafioso Abhishek Yadav alias Guddu.

Tribhuwan, who is one of the four accused in the case, has been sent to 14 days judicial custody.
Tribhuwan is also the elder brother of the district cooperative bank’s chairman and mafiosi, Vineet Singh.
Abhishek Yadav, who had also contested the last assembly election from the Cantonment legislative constituency, was kidnapped by the car-borne miscreants in police uniform from the Orderly Bazar area and shot dead in Baragaon area here on July 20, 2005.
During investigation, police had filed a chargesheet against four accused named Vineet Singh, Bhagat Singh, Tribhuwan Singh and another. Bhagat Singh had surrendered in the Court and had been bailed out. While, three other including Tribhuwan and Vineet were absconding. Evading the security arrangement, the accused, Tribhuwan along with his lawyer, Ajay Singh reached the court and made his client surrender.
