Bomb blast in Bihar kills three people

Three persons were killed when a bomb went off accidentally at Jehangirpur village in Bihar's Saran district on Friday, police said.

The persons were makings bombs when one of it went off killing the three killed, Superintendent of police SP Singh told.

While two -- Gajendra Das and Razzak Mian -- died on the spot, Kameshwar Singh succumbed to his injuries enroute to hospital, the SP said, adding eyewitnesses told the police that another person, whose identity was yet to be ascertained and who suffered injuries in the blast, managed to flee.

Three bombs and some materials used for manufacturing bomb were seized from the spot.

Investigations are on, he added.
