A time bomb, suspected to have been planted by the ULFA, exploded on Wednesday morning near an aluminium factory in Upper Assam's Tinsukia district.

The bomb went off at 7.45 am near an aluminium manufacturing plant at Pakorijan, about three kms from Tinsukia town police station, but there was no casualty or injury, the police said.
Only a portion of the factory's wall was damaged under the impact of the blast of the time device.
