An anonymous call that a bomb has been planted in Karnataka Chief Minister N Dharam Singh's residence sent the securitymen into a tizzy, but it turned out to be a hoax.

Police said soon after the call was received, they searched 'Anugraha' with the help of sniffer dog and bomb disposal squad in the wee hours of today in the presence of senior police officials.
The Chief Minister and his family were present during the search.
Singh told reporters that the call was received at his residence in his home town of Gulbarga.
This is the second hoax threat after the one that warned of a bomb explosion by 'Al-Jehadis' at the Chief Minister's residence on New Year's eve.
A spate of hoax calls has kept the police on tenterhooks ever since the terrorist attack at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) campus in Bangalore on last Wednesday.
