Bomb hoax at Mumbai's Mahim Rly station

A bomb hoax at Mahim railway station has forced the authorities to vacate passengers from the station.

A bomb scare at the Mahim railway station created chaos on Saturday.

Sniffer dogs and bomb disposal squads were pressed into service after an anonymous caller informed at about 4.22 pm that a bomb was planted at platform number one.

All trains were diverted for about an hour.

This is the third bomb scare in the past one week.

There were similar scares in Dadar and Bandra station on March 28 and 30 respectively.

Coincidently, the bomb was reported to have been planted at platform number one in all the cases.
