'Bond' actor Daniel Craig scared of Shakespeare!
The latest Bond on the block Daniel Craig wants to work in a West End play but says he is scared of working on a stage production of Shakespeare because he can't memorise the lengthy lines.
"Not that, I don't think that doing the classics is a wonderful idea, but Shakespeare's got too many lines and the other stuff is really complicated," he said.
The British actor admits that he has always wanted to appear in a starring role on the London stage, but would only consider appearing in new works as the classics would be too complicated for him, the Contactmusic reported.
He said, "If a play came along right now, I would jump at it. I'm very keen on doing new writing with plays - that's where my heart is."
The actor who began his acting career with theatre was the first ever blonde actor to portray the legendary British spy. He has also proved himself a versatile actor with his recent Holocaust drama In Defiance.
