The singer Beyonce Knowles' gowns in a movie were so tight fitting, that she was warned not to perform any booty shaking moves.

Singer Beyonce Knowles' gowns in the upcoming movie adaptation of the Broadway musical Dreamgirls were apparently so tight fitting, that she was warned not to perform any of her famous booty shaking moves, for fear of ripping them.

The movie's choreographer, Fatima Robinson revealed that she had had to warn the 'Bootylicious' star not to perform any of her moves.

"It's natural for Beyonce to go for it so I told her: 'No one saw the bottom then!' I said you can move it, but don’t shake it!" the Daily Mail quoted her, as saying.

Dreamgirls is based on the rise of the iconic band 'The Supremes', which was the most successful black musical act of the 1960s.

Beyonce plays Diana Ross in the movie.
