The boys reportedly told the mediapersons that they belonged to Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

They alleged of being physically abused and mercilessly beaten up by five teachers at the Madrasa.

“We were beaten with belts. Our teachers did ‘bad things’ with us and when we resisted they tortured us again. The other students did not get this treatment,” said one of the boys.

Ghaziabad SSP Raghubir Lal told HT that the police was trying to get access the children through the mediapersons concerned.

“One of our friends was left behind at Shahdara junction last night and was taken away by the Madrasa teacher and beaten up again. Later, he managed to flee the Madrasa again,” another boy said.

The children named five teachers who allegedly tortured them.

“We do not have any information about the missing children. If they were with the mediapersons or in their knowledge they should be handed over to the police or to their parents,” SP City AK Vijeta said.
