Five cops faced wrath of four brave girls when they tried to force a vehicle owner to shell out money.

It is learnt that one Mohammad Yasir Khan, resident of Nasik in Mahrashtra was going to Nepal on his Marshall vehicle MKW 5040 with his family when a police posse near Faizabad stopped him. After he had shown his vehicle papers, the cops of Nayaghat police station told him to shell out money or else they would tear up his papers and not permit him to move forward.

When the vehicle owner refused to give bribe on the ground that his papers were genuine, the police beat him up mercilessly. They also abused the girls sitting in the vehicle.

Within no time, the four girls, experts in judo, jumped out of the car and thrashed the cops -first with shoes and slippers then with boxes and rods.

Several cops received serious injuries. A huge crowd gathered on the highway to watch the unusual road show as the cops were given thrashing by young eves and as they begged for mercy while receiving blows.

The girls even snatched the cops' rifles and beat them with rifle butts.

Later, Nayaghat police station in charge Ramesh Pandey reached the place with strong police force and took the injured cops to a nearby hospital.

The cops overpowered the girls but the crowd released the furious eves following loud protests. The crowd also threatened to report the matter to Speaker of the assembly.

It was first time ever that the brazen cops of Uttar Pradesh bowed to eve power.
