Rajan, who not only directed but also co-starred in Offending Angels the story of two porn-loving lads finding love with guardian angels, said that everything had gone wrong in the making of the movie.
"Everything that could have gone wrong went wrong," The Sun quoted him, as saying.
First, a cameo by Rajan's This Life co-star Jack Davenport had to be cut because shoddy camera work left him unrecognisable. Then, funding for the movie fell through after shooting began, leaving Rajan to literally beg friends and family for cash. The movie then spent a year in editing after the film and sound mix got lost twice.
The movie's bucket of woes seemed to overflow for critics ravaged it after it opened, and it managed to last just one week in British cinemas, with the usher and projectionist being the only ones to see the movie during its 14 screenings at one movie hall.
