"We have got involved with the British Chamber of Commerce and Industry in launching an India Fact File on September 1," Sharma said while addressing a 20-member delegation of trade body PHDCCI at the India House on Tuesday night.

Noting that Indian companies are now making acquisitions across the world in various areas including steel and IT-related industries, he said India was doing well in the four key areas of agriculture, manufacturing, services and knowledge industry.

PHDCCI president Sushma Berlia said a vast majority of its members represent small and medium entrepreneurs and were keen to have joint ventures with their British counterparts.

After their two-day visit to the city, the delegation left for Birmingham on Wednesday.
