Bring 'Em In was recorded in Memphis at Royal Studios, with several arrangements supplied by long-time Al Green collaborator Willie Mitchell.

Among other musicians contributing to the album are drummer Steve Jordan (who also produced), bassist Willie Weeks, keyboardist Bernie Worrell and guitarist Dannie Kortchmar.

The album is the follow-up to Guy's 2003 effort Blues Singer, which debuted at No.3 on Billboard's Top Blues Albums chart.

Guy will hit the road in North America in the fall, with appearances already confirmed at Farm Aid (September 18) in Tinley Park, Illinois, and Texas' Austin City Limits Festival (September 24).
