Buddy teams up with Santana
Blues guitarist Buddy Guy has collaborated with Carlos Santana on his new album Bring 'Em In.
Blues guitarist Buddy Guy collaborates with musicians like Rolling Stones member Keith Richards, Carlos Santana, John Mayer and Keb' Mo' on his new album Bring 'Em In.

To be released September 20 on the Jive label, the album finds the 2005 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee putting his own slant on songs popularised by Curtis Mayfield, Johnny Taylor, Isaac Hayes and Otis Redding, reports billboard.com.
Mayer guests on a cover of Redding's I've Got Dreams To Remember, while Santana drops by for a version of Screamin' Jay Hawkins' I Put a Spell on You.

Bring 'Em In was recorded in Memphis at Royal Studios, with several arrangements supplied by long-time Al Green collaborator Willie Mitchell.
Among other musicians contributing to the album are drummer Steve Jordan (who also produced), bassist Willie Weeks, keyboardist Bernie Worrell and guitarist Dannie Kortchmar.
The album is the follow-up to Guy's 2003 effort Blues Singer, which debuted at No.3 on Billboard's Top Blues Albums chart.
Guy will hit the road in North America in the fall, with appearances already confirmed at Farm Aid (September 18) in Tinley Park, Illinois, and Texas' Austin City Limits Festival (September 24).
