Bus-truck collision in Rajasthan, 17 killed

The passengers were going to Pushkar from Menar village when the incident occured, eight rushed to hospital.

Seventeen persons, including 14 women and two children, were killed and 26 injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck at Morchana in Rajsamand district of Rajasthan on Sunday, police sources said.

Eight of the critically injured were rushed to a hospital in Udaipur.

Those killed were going to Pushkar from Menar village, circle officer of the area Chandra Sheel said.
