Bush offers floral tributes to Father of the Nation

Bush drove down to the memorial of the Mahatma after a ceremonial welcome at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.

The visiting US President George W Bush on Thursday offered floral tributes to father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi at his memorial in Rajghat in New Delhi.

Bush, accompanied by wife Laura, offered obeisance at Rajghat on the banks of river Yamuna as hymns played in the background.
