1. Select well:

2. Right size:
In addition to the size of the area to be cooled, there are other factors to consider in order to determine the capacity of your AC. Heat load estimation is key factor in estimating capacity requirements.

3. Energy efficiency:
The BEE star rating should be checked before making the final deal; the more the stars, the better the efficiency, which is measured as the energy efficiency ratio (EER), the ratio of the cooling capacity to the power consumption of the AC.

4 Other features:
Key features that make an equipment easier to use are a remote control, LCD displays, and built-in timers. Other value-added features include an economic running mode, filters and air purifiers.
