Campaign launched against criminals in UP
In a campaign launched against criminal elements, Uttar Pradesh police in the wee hours pm Sunday arrested 1,729 wanted criminals including 25 of those carrying reward, police sources said.

In a campaign launched against criminal elements, Uttar Pradesh police in the wee hours pm Sunday arrested 1,729 wanted criminals including 25 of those carrying reward, police sources said.
In the drive launched on the directions of DGP, Karmveer Singh police arrested 1,729 wanted criminals including 25 of those carrying reward, they said.
During the drive, illicit liquor, narcotics substances, illegal arms and crude bombs were also recovered at some places, they added.
