CBE-Mettupalayam passenger trains from Tuesday for a month
Responding to public demand, short distance passenger special trains will be run between Coimbatore-Mettupalayam sector, from tomorrow for a period of one month.

Responding to public demand, short distance passenger special trains will be run between Coimbatore-Mettupalayam sector, from tomorrow for a period of one month.
Three pairs of specials will be run daily between Coimbatore and Mettupalayam during June, except Sundays.
The trains will depart at 9 AM, 12 PM and 3 PM from Coimbatore, whilie it will start from Mettupalayam at 10.40 AM, 1.10 PM and 4.20 PM, a Southern Railway release said on Monday.
The running time between Coimbatore-Mettupalayam, covering Coimbatore North, Periyanaickenpalayam and Karamadai, is 50 minutes, it said.
