CBI begins questioning Telgi in central prison
Telgi was re-lodged in jail on Tuesday from a Govt hospital where he was under observation following a bout of diarrhoea and vomiting since Monday last.
india Updated: Mar 10, 2004 14:07 ISTCBI began questioning Abdul Karim Telgi, the prime accused in the multi-crore fake stamp paper scam, at the central prison at Parappana Agrahara on the city outskirts on Wednesday morning, jail authorities said.
A three-member CBI team, which arrived in Bangalore on Tuesday, is grilling Telgi after securing permission from the special court trying the offences relating to the scam.
Telgi was re-lodged in jail on Tuesday from a government hospital where he was under observation following a bout of diarrhoea and vomiting since Monday last.
