CBI director Ranjit Sinha’s daughter, IB officer Rudrani Sinha, is set to get married in Patna on Saturday.
CBI director Ranjit Sinha’s daughter, IB officer Rudrani Sinha, is set to get married in Patna on Saturday.
According to sources, Rudrani, a Delhi university graduate, who is an assistant central intelligence officer (ACIO) in the IB, will be tying the knot with a fellow officer whom she met at work.
“Bihar governor DY Patil, chief minister Nitish Kumar and many other top leaders of the state have been invited,” a source close to the family told HT.
The wedding reception will be hosted on July 19 in New Delhi.
The guest list includes President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi among others.
“A deliberate effort had been made to exclude from the guest lists anybody who is at the receiving end of the cases the CBI is or has been probing,” said the source.
