The search was conducted in connection with a case of corruption, cheating and forgery against Ahmed, general manager (technical) PC Arya, Rajendra Garg, proprietor of Garg Construction Company, and former manager (technical) DP Singh.

Besides, finding Rs 13 lakh from the engineer’s house, the sleuths also seized some relevant documents related to the case. Sources said the CBI would also lodge a case against Ahmed for amassing assets disproportionate to his known source of income.
