"Delhi government has demanded Rs 1,314 crore from the Centre for constructing roads, flyovers, bridges, residential accomodations, building new hospitals and improving transport system," Delhi BJP chief Harsh Vardhan said in a statement adding that the Union Government has granted only Rs 770 crore for projects worth Rs 1,400 crore.

He said because of shortage of funds, departments like PWD, MCD, DDA and NDMC have started scaling down their projects and this is going to affect the development of Delhi.
