Malkangiri superintendent of police Akhileswar Singh said the CEO, A Bhupal and nine others were transporting the explosives, mobile phones, batteries and Maoist literature when they were arrested near Potrel village on the Andhra-Odisha Border on Friday.

The explosives and other material were being carried from Andhra Pradesh in two vehicles, which were stopped by an Odisha Police team near Potrel.

"We had information that the employees of Lekcon had supplied explosives to Maoists 15 days back. We laid a trap and nabbed the accused, including Bhupal, the CEO," the SP said.
