Chain snatchers attack cop's wife, manage to flee

On Sunday afternoon, Abhilasha, the wife of a policeman, Satvir, was not spared by chain snatchers.

Abilasha was on her way to the market on a rickshaw when two bikers snatched her chain. The incident took place near Sector 28.

Though she called out for help and some locals rushed to her aid, the snatchers managed to escape. A case in this connection has been registered at Sector 28 police station.

"The victim was wife of a policeman. We are trying our best to nab the accused," the investigating officer said.
