magazine has named Hong Kong action film star Jackie Chan as one of the 10 most generous celebrities, placing him among the ranks of U2 lead singer Bono, talk show host Oprah Winfrey and actress Angelina Jolie.
Forbes said in a report on its website on Tuesday that Chan, who set up the Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation, gave $64,000 (euro50,170) to UNICEF to help tsunami victims in Asia in December 2004.

The actor had also recently donated $100,000 (euro78,395) to Chrysalis, a Los Angeles-based charity for the homeless.
The other generous celebrities identified by Forbes are Bono, Winfrey, Jolie, Nicholas Cage, Sandra Bullock, Steven Spielberg, Celine Dion, Paul McCartney and California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The 10 were, however, not ranked.
Among Chan's latest charity works, Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation recently received a $20,000 (euro15,679) donation from Tom Cruise, according to Chan's website.
The donation will fund 10 scholarships at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.
