Asked whether there will be disruption of Parliament proceedings, he told reporters here that "the situation has come to a pass that we are forced to voice our opposition."

"Government is attacking democracy by removing governors on the ground of their ideology," Vajpayee said.

When pointed out that BJP had promised to act like a responsible opposition, he said, "We also want no disruption in Parliament. But this cannot be ensured only with the help of the Opposition alone. For this, the Government has to change its attitude."

The senior BJP leader said Congress has set off a chain of events and one does not know where it will end.

Asked about Congress' contention that governors were removed during NDA rule also, he said he had always took care that such things did not happen.
