Charge sheet to be filed against Rahul

The son of slain BJP leader Pramod Mahajan is facing drug abuse charges.

Delhi Police have given the final touches to the charge sheet against Rahul Mahajan, son of slain Bhartiya Janta Party leader Pramod Mahajan in the infamous drug abuse case.

They would file the charge sheet before the court on Thursday.

While confirming this, highly placed sources in police said that the charge sheet prepared by Tuglak Road Police has got the final permission of the district police chief.

In all seven people, including three Nigerian nationals, would be facing trial in the case. A police officer involved in the investigation of the case said, "After seeking legal opinion, all loop ends of the case have been dispensed and since the final nod have come from the district police chief, we would file it."

The accused have been charged under Section 21, 27A, 25, 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS Act) and Section 201, 120B of the IPC.
