Political analyst and Tughlaq editor Cho Ramasamy, who is a confidant of the Tamil Nadu CM, said recently that the BJP should support her for PM’s post if “by any chance” Narendra Modi failed to make it.

Cho, who is also close to Modi, told his annual readers’ meeting on January 16 that her track record in governance showed that she was capable of leading the government at the Centre. He cited her efforts in the improvement in TN’s power situation and touch action on terrorists as a proof of her leadership abilities like Modi.

The BJP is not too happy that she is cozying up with Left parties to further her ambition to be the PM.
