On Tuesday, a blast triggered by an IED tied to the body of a CRPF trooper killed four civilians when they had been ordered by security officers to lift the body. Of the six civilians sent to do the job, three died on the spot.

Village mukhiya and eyewitness Baldev Parahia said, "After being ordered by the security personnel to lift the body of a jawan, the victims knelt down and when they touched it, it exploded."
