Both the ruling Congress and opposition BJP seem neck to neck and confident, as of now. But the situation will become clearer once the parties announce their first list of candidates, who will contest polls, in October.

Between them, the Congress and BJP have held power in Rajasthan for most part of the last six decades.

They have alternately held power and this time too it’s going to be a close fight.

Both the parties seem neck and neck as of now. The Congress seems confident that the flagship schemes of the UPA and welfare schemes launched by the state government will bring in votes. The BJP is relying on Congress’s poor governance and administrative failures to net votes.
