Mukherjee and Azad will hold meetings with senior Congress and NCP leaders late Saturday evening and are likely to convene the Congress Legislative Party (CLP) meeting on Sunday, party sources said.

With the Congress-NCP Democratic Front emerging as the largest political front in the state, and the Congress being the larger partner, the two leaders will set into motion the process for formation of the new government as well as electing the new Chief Minister.
