CM condoles death of freedom fighter

Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has expressed grief over the demise of Khubram Jakhar, a veteran freedom fighter and former sarpanch of Chautala village in Sirsa district. He was about 105.

In a condolence message issued here on Thursday, Hooda described him as a great freedom fighter who played a vital role in the freedom struggle of the country. Hooda conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the members of bereaved family and prayed that the departed soul rest in peace. The mortal remains of Jakhar were cremated with full state honour at the cremation ground of the village, an official release said.
