CM dedicates JP?s captive power plant

CHIEF MINISTER Shivraj Singh Chouhan dedicated a 27.5 mega watt captive power plant of the JP Associates 20 km away from the district headquarters today.

Inspecting the Rs 95 crore plant, the chief minister also inquired about its activities. He complimented the JP Associates and said this plant would not only benefit the company but also help the MPSEB tide over power crisis. The surplus power from the plant would be transmitted to the MPSEB lines.

Earlier, planting sapling at the JP Cement premises, the chief minister asked the management to keep plantation alive to help maintain balance in environment. JP Cements general manager Manoj Gaur informed on the occasion that the plant would generate 6. 60 lakh unit power every day.

On the occasion, district in-charge minister Ajay Vishnoi, Animal Husbandry Minister Ramakant Tiwari, MP Chandramani Tripathi , collector Hariranjan Rao and the SP were also present.
