CM Mufti Mohammad Sayeed meets Jaitley, demands release of rehab package

A government spokesperson said the CM stressed on need to fast-track the financing of the rehabilitation package.

Jaitley assured full support and said the Centre would find ways to fund the immediate restoration of livelihood and reconstruction in short term.

The Union finance minister also suggested the state government to identify projects which can be financed within the current budgetary allocation.


In view of the upcoming tourist season, the chief minister pointed out the urgency for restoring the existing tourism infrastructure of the state.
