This immense coffee shop with windows looking out into the sprawling lawns reminds us of the departure lounge at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. The food belongs to the last century (it's the world's last outpost of the Coq Au Vin and Crepes Suzette the way Anglo-Indian cooks made them in the days of the Raj); so do the waiters, who've great difficulty tramping the length of the coffee shop. It's a sad example of the way ITDC has been messing up things, though the gargantuan Keema Mutter Samosas do taste good. Inexplicably, unlike the other coffee shops, it has only a breakfast buffet priced at Rs 350 plus taxes.
