Colourful show at Wildlife Week
DURING THE Wildlife Week-2006 at Kanpur zoo, different competitions were organised today. About 116 students from 20 schools participated in these competitions. In art competition, Kirti Kumari, Sahil Khan and Sachin Yadav won the first, second and third prize of sub junior section. In junior section, Mohammed Wasif, Sneha Singh Kushwaha and Nitu Singh grabbed first, second and third place. In senior section, Priyanka Gautam, Brijesh Pal and Gaurav Bhattacharya were first, second and third respectively.

In Rangoli competition, junior section winners were Mohammed Naeem, Pratibha Sharma and Deeksha Sharma respectively. Manish Jaiswal, Shikha Verma and Nidhi Kushwaha grabbed senior section titles respectively.
Nishdha Dubey, Sarika Singh and Samiksha Sahu won first, second and third prize of Mehndi competition in junior section while Ritu Dubey, Neelam Singh and Arshi Khatoon grabbed first, second and third place in senior section.
Cores India Limited provided sheets for the art competition.
Earlier, all the students and guests were welcomed by Dr UC Srivastava.
