Cong seeks ex-gratia for victim?s kin

ALLAHABAD DISTRICT Congress Committee president Ashok Vajpayee visited Sadiyapur locality on Saturday where one person was killed on the Holi day, and demanded ex-gratia to the bereaved family. Vajpayee was accompanied by Ishwar Sharan Degree College (ISDC) student union president Vishal Shukla and vice-president Ashutosh Tripathi.

ALLAHABAD DISTRICT Congress Committee president Ashok Vajpayee visited Sadiyapur locality on Saturday where one person was killed on the Holi day, and demanded ex-gratia to the bereaved family. Vajpayee was accompanied by Ishwar Sharan Degree College (ISDC) student union president Vishal Shukla and vice-president Ashutosh Tripathi.

Vajpayee condemned the incident that took place during Holi and demanded medical treatment to those who sustained injuries in the incident. He demanded immediate action and arrest of the culprits.

Shukla said the incident occurred due to slipshod security arrangements in Baghada, Shuturkhana and Salori areas. Student leader Umesh Tiwari said ISDC as police chowki in-charge Keshari Prasad Yadav was not sincere towards his duty, anti-social elements carried out their activities without any fear. Ashutosh Tripathi demanded immediate transfer of the police chowki in-charge.

Former ISDC union vice president Durgesh Chanda Shukla warned of dire consequences if the police failed to take immediate action against the culprits.
Those present on the occasion included Umesh Chandra Shukla, Kishan Lal, Sitaram, Shobhit Shukla, Varun Shukla, Nand Lal, Nitin Mishra, Jitendra Tripathi, Ganga Ram and others.
