Formal declaration on BSP-Congress alliance would be made in a public meeting, slated to be held at Lucknow in the month of November. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and BSP president Omprakash Rajbhar would address the Lucknow rally, Gupta said.
“Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party are responsible for the plight of eastern Uttar Pradesh”, he said and added that a sense of insecurity, gunda raj and lawlessness had been prevailing in Uttar Pradesh.
