PCC President J Poojari said evaluating the mood of the voters during campaigning, Congress could win a minimum of 24 out of the 28 LS seats.

The Congress party in Karnataka would post a thumping majority in both assembly and Lok Sabha polls, as available indications favoured the party retaining power, PCC President Janardhan Poojari said on Monday.

"Evaluating the mood of the voters during campaigning and on the basis of the party survey, Congress could win a minimum of 24 out of the 28 Lok Sabha seats while in the assembly it should get not less than 173 seats in the 224-member legislative assembly," Poojari told a press conference here.

"It won't be a miracle if the Congress gets 24 of the 28 Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka," he said.
