A survey commissioned by the Congress has predicted that the party would return to power in the state, Karnataka Chief Minister S M Krishna claimed today.

Speaking to reporters here, he, however, declined to specify the number of seats the survey had forecast for his party, saying it would be disclosed on April 26, after the completion of the second and final phase of polling in the state.
Krishna said he was happy with the forecast made by the agency drafted for the purpose.
He also said that the government would consider extending the midday meal scheme for children upto standard ten. The scheme would cover children upto standard seven from the next academic year, he said.
