Addressing a CPI(M) meeting at Bonai, about 80 km from Rourkela on Thursday, Mishra said the situation in the country had gone from “bad to worse” after the UPA government signed the N-deal with the US.
The country had been facing a serious financial crisis with prices of essential commodities increasing, Mishra said. The government failed in controlling price rise, he said.
Meanwhile, Bonai sitting MLA Laxaman Munda of CPI(M) on Thursday filed his nomination papers in Mishra’s presence for the seat.
