Congress leads in 10 seats

The Congress, member of the ruling Meghalya People's Forum, is ahead in ten constituencies in the 60-member assembly in Meghalaya, according to trends available here.

The Nationalist Congress Party formed by Purno A Sangma, former Lok Sabha Speaker, is ahead in three seats while the United Democratic Party is ahead in one. Others are ahead in seven.
