Maharashtra CM said Congress was the only political party which thinks and works for upliftment of Dalit community in the country.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde on Monday said Congress was the only political party which thinks and works for the upliftment of Dalit community in the country.

Shinde, who arrived here for the last day election campaign for Kanpur, Fatehpur and Allahabad candidates of the party, told reporters that after visiting various parts of the country it seems that Congress would be in a position to form the government at the Centre with its allies.
The Congress leader, accompanied by his Minister of State for Home Kripa Shankar Singh, said that in Maharashtra Congress and allies would sweep the polls as it had done in 1998 Lok Sabha elections when Congress had secured 38 of the 48 seats of the state.
