Agitated over the deplorable law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh, Congress workers in Mathura took to the streets and burnt the effigy of Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav on Saturday.

Leading the protestors, Senior Vice-President, Mathura Congress Committee, Tara Chand Goswami, alleged that law and order situation in the state has gone from "bad to worse".
