Last week, the Sector 29 police station had refused to register a complaint filed by the Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda) against the contractor, Sanjay Dagar. Apart from Huda, residents of DLF City also complained before the police commissioner KK Sindhu.
On Thursday, the police commissioner said the department cannot take action against the contractor until the land owner files a complaint.
“The land owner is not coming forward to lodge complaints. Why others are so worried I fail to understand. The entire city is facing crunch for parking space. The government agencies should also think of providing parking facilities, besides lodging complaints,” Sindhu told HT.
The DLF management has also requested the police to take appropriate action against the contractor. DLF officials say that the police do not need a formal complaint to be lodged.
