Copying unabated in UP Board examinations
UNABATED COPYING was reported from several districts in the ongoing examinations of High School and Intermediate being conducted by UP Board. In Allahabad district, 28 examinees including 17 boys and 11 girls were caught in High School examination on Tuesday morning. Maximum number of nine examinees were caught at Public Inter College, Manauri, followed by five in Tikri College.

In Allahabad district, 28 examinees including 17 boys and 11 girls were caught in High School examination on Tuesday morning. Maximum number of nine examinees were caught at Public Inter College, Manauri, followed by five in Tikri College.
According to the Board officials here till Monday evening, a total of 646 examinees were nabbed for cheating during the Board examinations in the State.
Agra division was on the top of list with 186 candidates. The reports of mass copying at several exam centres in Aligarh, Kaushambi and Azamgarh were also received.
The cancellation of Monday's exams at two centres each in Allahabad and Kaushambi have been recommended on the grounds of mass copying.
The FIRs against five invigilators were lodged for assisting examinees in copying.
Divyakant Shukla, DIOS-II, found mass copying at Satya Narayan Inter College, Uruwa.
He immediately recommended for cancellation of the examination of the centre. FIRs against two invigilators including Ghanshyam Pathak and Arvind were lodged because they were carrying guide books in the examination hall.
FIR against Sudhir Kumar, another invigilator at Aditya Prasad Tiwari Inter College was also lodged on the ground for having no identity card. Notably, the Board has issued the identity cards for each invigilator and carrying it is mandatory while on duty.
The similar action was initiated against two invigilators of Mahatma Jyotidham Vidyashram, Kada dham who had copying material with them at the exam centre. Exam of Hindi paper at Maheshwari Prasad Inter College, Alamchand, Kaushambi was recommended for cancellation on the ground of mass copying.
