Counselling mela kicks off at MNNIT

THE MEGA counselling of All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE)-2006 began at the Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) for selected students of UP and Uttaranchal on Wednesday morning. Day one was dedicated for the students of SC/ST and the physically handicapped category. The counselling began at 9 am and continued till 4 pm for the 190 students scheduled to appear at MNNIT.

The counselling began at 9 am and continued till 4 pm for the 190 students scheduled to appear at MNNIT.

Earlier, the students were also apprised about the latest changes made in the software regarding the depositing of the fee and the verification of the documents .

MNNIT has made elaborate preparations for the counselling including dedicating over 120 computer terminals, 1mbps Internet lease line backed by indigenous server of National Informatics Centre' server and software. The institute has deputed 15

faculty members besides assigning five coordinators for the vital task. On June 29, while 841 students are scheduled to appear for the counselling, 1805 students are expected on June 30. As many as 1563 students are scheduled to report for counselling at the MNNIT on July 1.
