Court gives protection to couple

Yet another runaway couple, who married against the wishes of their relatives, was given police protection on the directions of the court on Tuesday. The couple was sent to a shelter home in Gurgaon.

Jaybeer Singh (28), married Rinkesh (24) at an Arya Samaj Mandir in Delhi on January 4. The couple had approached a Gurgaon court seeking police protection.

When the girl’s parents came to know about the affair, they allegedly threatened Singh. The couple eloped and got married. Singh belongs to Rajasthan and is employed with a private company in Gurgaon, while Rinkesh hails from Haryana.
