Susayraj had approached the sessions court for bail after which her lawyer Niteen Pradhan filed two applications, one seeking a copy of her confessional statement and the other seeking to permit her to be present in court during the hearing of her bail application.

Additional sessions judge PH Mali rejected both the applications and has posted the hearing of Susayraj's bail application on June 24.

Susayraj's lawyer Pradhan had earlier argued that the police had already leaked contents of her confession to several newspapers and thus even the accused is entitled to get a copy of the confession.

Pradhan now plans to move the High Court challenging the rejection of the two applications.

Susayraj and her naval officer fiancee Jerome Mathew were arrested in May this year for murdering Neeraj Grover, creative head of TV production house Synergy Adlabs.

The two had allegedly stabbed Grover to death and had burnt the body at Manor.
